THE MÅNE

MECHANICAL - MONOLAYER - MODULAR
3 different interpretations of the moon phase complication

THE PROJECT

THE CONCEPT

The Idea behind the project is to create a watch that is combining simplicity with the complexity of modern swiss watchmaking.

The concept can be explained in 3 words:

Mechanical

Monolayer
Modular

INSPIRATION

Creating a new and unique watch case is a difficult challenge.

The idea behind the Funder case is a simplistic approach where the case is made in one piece of titanium and uses a unique curvature to combine every element of the watch into one visual piece.

The design takes also inspiration from the monobloc cases that where especially present during the 1970´s.

THE COMPLICATION

There are 3 different moonphase complications that are available

- Phases
- Days
- State

Each of them offers 3 new and different ways to read the phases of the moon.

MODULARITY

The concept is using a unique modular system that makes it possible to change between various cases, straps and movements.
